Business Description
Our client is a software company that generates recurring revenue through its products and services. These include a mobile app development service along with the licensing of its proprietary, extremely user-friendly software platform for mobile app development. This feature-rich software platform allows licensed clients to develop, with no computer programming required, custom branded native mobile apps and websites. Our client’s platform can save users time and money, allowing them to enter the mobile marketplace easily. Alternatively, our client creates mobile apps for clients, and acts as the publisher for customers who prefer this approach. Importantly, mobile apps developed in our client’s platform can support advertising and allow mobile solutions to be a revenue generator for both the owner of this technology and its customers.
“(Our client has) developed a feature rich software platform which allows customers to develop custom branded, native mobile apps and websites that require no computer programming. (Our client’s) platform can save customers time and money and allow them to enter the mobile marketplace easily. Furthermore, for those customers (our client’s) products can support advertising and allow the mobile solution to be a revenue generator.”
The following strategies are in use by our client to generate various revenue streams:
1) Our client acts as a mobile publisher, creates mobile apps in specific markets and populates the apps with editorial and commercial content. Our client calls this the Ad Sales Model. This model is well established and generates recurring ad revenue for our client on an ongoing basis.
2) Our client licenses its proprietary software to customers whom that the company calls DIY Customers, Such Customers utilize our client’s software to build and maintain their own mobile app. This revenue stream consists of the initial licensing fees for the software platform and annual license renewal fees.
3) Our client is just now developing an additional revenue stream called the “franchise model” where our client offers a revenue share model for partners operating in specific markets. These partners will use our client’s software platform to develop and market their own mobile app and sell advertising on it as a source of shared income
Our client owns all processes, and websites which they will transfer in full to a buyer.
Our client’s “ready to go,” profitable web site, tech, and relationships will enable a buyer to be up and running immediately.
