An Insurance Company in business since 2013 known for employee benefits started a P&C book in 2019 and now wishes to sell off that part of the Business. The book is weighted toward commercial with 44 carriers, including Hartford, Liberty Mutual, AmTrust, Travelers, and Safeco. Excellent cross-sell opportunity as the commercial P&C customers do not have personal lines with this Company. Additionally, many Buyers can immediately increase their revenue from this book by up to 40% if the Seller buys out of his Agency Network Agreement and the Buyer rolls this book into their own codes. About 300 policies in force with 150 clients. There is limited cross over with this book and the Seller’s employee benefits Business. The Seller would like to negotiate a producer agreement with the Buyer so that he continues to have a place to put P&C business for his benefits clients and for new referrals.

Competition:

There is always competition for P&C insurance. The Seller draws new business from his extensive local network, and of course by delivering a high level of service.

Growth & Expansion:

Primarily a renewal book with opportunities to switch from network commission splits to direct appointments, as well as cross-selling to the existing book. A Buyer should immediately realize a 35% or possibly up to 40%
increase in revenue once the book is rolled into their platform.
