Business Description

This outstanding company is a national installer of network cabling and other low voltage systems. Services include structured cabling, fiber optics installation, paging systems, IP video surveillance, infrastructure design, equipment installation, cable plant documentation and national rollouts, and was started by the owner under the current structure in August, 1994.

The Seller is a sole owner and owns 100% of the subject business being sold. The business is incorporated in the State of Virginia, though it is essentially operated virtually with the owner located in Florida and technicians that travel the United States.

The Seller and Seller’s Agent will work with the successful Buyer to facilitate the transfer of all contracts and intellectual property, as well title to any and all equipment and vehicles that are included in the purchase into a corporate structure of the Buyer’s choosing.

Competition:

The business is incorporated in the State of Virginia, though the company performs work in all 50 states and is essentially “virtual” with three technicians that travel the country almost exclusively performing network/structured cabling service work under a Master Contract with a Fortune 100 Food & Beverage Manufacturer. The business is one of two companies that have such a Master Contract.

Growth & Expansion:

The Seller has, over time, built a reputation as the “go-to” network cabling company for a Fortune 100 Food & Beverage manufacturer and been able to parlay that reputation into becoming one of two companies nationally able to provide network cabling and IT infrastructure services under a Master Service contract.
The Seller and the Client’s technicians travel almost 100% of the time to the Company’s various manufacturing and distribution locations and provide service under this contract.
Because of the strong relationship between the Seller and the Client, significant additional opportunities have been presented to the Company to handle a comprehensive IT audit and to potentially provide additional IT support services to the Client, as well as to grow the existing business internationally.
Ideally, the Seller envisions significant revenue opportunities and operational synergies could be achieved by selling all or significant majority control of the Company to a Buyer that is large, multi-site network cabling and IT service provider.
