Business Description
The parent company, founded in 1989, launched as a medical apparel manufacturing firm, producing fashionable uniforms and professional attire. With the infrastructure in place, a Buyer need only take the equipment, employees, and client base, increase efficiency, and boost production.
Much time and effort was spent marketing to, working with, and supporting upstart designers, and dreamers, all who proudly want to create made-in-the-USA products. However, the Company earned its reputation as a highly-rated private-label apparel manufacturer thanks to its ability to change with the times.
A decade ago, the industry shifted when active sportswear took off. Today, yoga apparel and athleisure are the largest growth areas in the apparel industry and the biggest product segment for this operation. And the Seller is also a client. She designs and makes a proprietary, patented line of athletic leotards for dancers and gymnasts. Cutting out the middle-man for the high-performance training apparel was the reason she bought the company.
The Company also works with other established cut and sew firms to keep outsourcing locally and offering backup for growing designers and custom manufacturers to help take their businesses to the next level.
They also work closely with vendors who supply fabrics, trims, and other aspects of production; referring customers to vendors, and those vendors return the favor.
